Absolutely true. Nowadays here in Holland the youngsters tend to say that the elder had a good and easy time with wealth and properity that came all by itself. We, the older people, should now invest in younger people and accept a decrease in income to favor the youngsters. We should also give up our jobs for them. They do not realise it's them that had an easy, comfortable life so far (that is, a lot of them), thanks to their parents....oh well, it's a sign of the time I guess

Although I am of the opposite sex I know what you mean. I'm turning 59 this June and know I am ignored as well by a good deal of people. However, I don't care. I know who I am, I have my friends who appreciate me. And a lot of people don't ignore me. So, I ignore those ignoring and focus on the other part. And for a starters, you may well feel appreciated around here! And I'm sure, there a lots of others.....
