Has or does anybody know of any fix for desktopX weather widgets.

The old widgets will never work again because The Weather Channel cut off the feed. There is a modification to get around it (for the old ones) that used to be posted on Wincustomize, but I think they took it down due to the fact that it was illegal from the beginning.
If you know neophil78, he has the fix for the old widgets. So do a few other people. You might find his solution in the replies in the forum threads I've listed below. The problem is that you need to change the script slightly, and it is an illegal tap unless you include the TWC logo and 5 links. If it is just for personal use, I guess nobody will care.
sViz has created 2 new templates, one complies with the TWC terms of service, and the other uses Weather Underground instead.
If you want an amazing weather gadget (by Vad_M) that is not available to the public, I can send you a copy. It's version 7. There's nothing else like it.
There are a bunch of new functional widgets in the DesktopX galleries, but it looks like most of the old ones will never be updated. That's a real shame.
